ITALY IN YOUR KITCHEN
Create and enjoy a series of recipes from the regions of Tuscany and Sicily that will culminate in a three-course Italian meal.
A cooking class party is a great way to learn new recipes and enjoy the food with family and friends in your own home!
Chop and slice or just watch and listen, then sit at the dining table and celebrate, Italian style, starting with antipasto, followed by a first course of risotto, pasta or soup, then a second course of poultry, fish or meat with a side of vegetables, and finally dessert!
Nicoletta loves sharing her favorite meals and recipes from the regions of Tuscany, Umbria and Sicily. She has taught Italian language and cooking in Seattle since 1988 and created many unforgettable meals, including vegetarian ones. Her cooking classes are filled with stories and anecdotes; the choices of menus and recipes are endless!
• Enjoy an appetizer (antipasto in Italian) while we go over the menu and get familiar with the recipes we’ll learn.
• Then we will cook for a couple of hours, creating a classic three-course meal. We will then sit down to enjoy dinner paired with specially selected Italian wines. (Your can also bring your own selection).
• Everyone will be provided a recipe packet so they can recreate the delicious menu at home.
Menus are tailor-made for every group
And if you're looking for an effective, fun way to bond with colleagues, a team-building cooking party is an alternative to the traditional office party, and will leave you and your guests smiling long after the cooking is done.
“Italian cuisine is not a fixed cuisine, but has some very simple and basic principles that make the food excellent and healthy. It encourages one to adapt and improve each original dish, according to the seasons and the resources that are available.”
Nicoletta is writing a memoir-cookbook entitled “4 Seasons, 4 kitchens of my life in Tuscany” , in which there are recipes and descriptions of precious moments in four different eras and diverse kitchens of her life in Tuscany.
